Market Watch (January '07 – May '07 vs. January '08 – May '08)
The Orangeville market has also slowed down with regards to sales of homes priced under $400,000. This price range has dropped 17 per cent over the same time last year. The number of sales in the $400,000 plus price range only dropped slightly in 2008.
The Dufferin market as well slowed significantly in both price ranges. Homes sold under $400,000 have dropped 32 per cent when compared to the first 5 months of last year; sales over $400,000 have dropped 41 per cent.
The Shelburne Real Estate Market has certainly slowed down in the last year of homes priced under $300,000. This price range has dropped 20 per cent. The number of sales in the $300,000 plus price range increased slightly in 2008 however.
